No makeup look: Lip Color

Again, no matte lipsticks. Semi-matte lippies and gloss will do for the no-makeup effect. A word of caution, however-high-shine glosses may be too harsh, so use them sparingly. No obvious lines means leaving the lip liner in your kikay kit for now-we don't want your kisser to look too "drawn."

Pick a brown-pink shade. This complements perfectly all-natural lip colors. If you're on the morena side, berries will also help brighten up your sallow undertones.

Prep lips with a moisturizing balm (natural doesn't mean dry and cracked!) before applying color. For the most natural effect, don't use a lip brush. We want your pout to look like you woke up with it, rather than painted on. I'd recommend using a sponge-tipped wand or even your fingers.

Tip: You might want to use your lip and cheek stain after lip balm for the most natural effect. This is highly recommend for those who don't want too much of the "neon sign factor" on their mouths.
