Geza Schoen's Escentric Molecule Fragrance

Geza Schoen's Escentric Molecule duo is based on an aroma-chemical called Iso E Super that has a pheramonic effect. This revolutionary approach has created two initial scents, Escentric 01 and Molecule 01, designed to have distinct consequences fragrance-wise. Escentric 01 is created using Iso E Super, blended with pink pepper, lime peel and orris incense, to give an aroma that moves quickly from top to bottom notes and lingers at the base. Molecule 01, on the other hand, consists of nothing but the pure aroma-chemical, which acting solo is more of an effect than an aroma. The subtle velvety, woody note vanishes and re-appears over time and impacts on the reactions of other people to the wearer. To them Molecule 01 will seem to lend radiance to the wearer, well that's the theory. And if the fragrances' US sales are anything to go by, that theory is correct - both scents sold out almost as soon as they hit the shelves.

The entire project has been a collaboration of creative minds with emotional branding experts This Company and graphic artists Me Company working on the packaging solutions.

Of course, after revolution comes evolution and Escentric 01 and Molecule 01 look set to be followed by a series of congruent fragrances. Look out for those over the coming months.

Escentric 01 and Molecule 01 are both priced at 59 for 100ml and are available exclusively at Harvey Nichols stores in the UK and Ireland.
