Fresh Idea: Summer Skin Care
The summer heat is just around the corner. Before you go out and
enjoy the sunshine make sure you taking the right precautions when it
comes to your skin.
Summer activities are hard to resist as the
temperatures start to rise, but there are precautions every man or
woman should take to keep the sun from damaging your skin.
"I don't do a lot of winter activities but in the summer I'm always out," said Lisa Hanson.
"Sunscreen should be worn everyday, even in the winter. The sun
is still out even through the clouds you can defiantly get sunburned,"
warns master aesthetican, Bobbie Ann Dunn.
Besides sunscreen, there are other treatments that are designed to rejuvenate your skin even more.
Nielson Sio Salon and Spa offers summer facials that includes
sunscreen moisturizers and a multi-vitamin power exfoliate mild enough
to use on almost any skin type.
"I think it's important to maintain it. It's the only skin I have," Hanson said.
To protect yourself for the long run there are a lot of home care techniques you can do by yourself.
"The things you do at home-cleansing exfoliating toning and moisturizing-doing those things everyday of the week," said Dunn.
Acne, hyper pigmentation, rashes, sensitivity and of course aging, are all common conditions among teens and adults.
"It's so important to care now no matter what age you are. There's no wrong time to start," Dunn said.
These kinds of summer facials should be done about every four to six weeks for the full benefit.
