Boots marching on with 40th store

The new store, which is due to open its doors on July 10 will be located at Sprucefield Shopping Centre beside Marks and Spencer.
The new 1,200 sq metre store will offer customers a wide range of health, toiletries and beauty products, with a particular emphasis on premium cosmetics.

Leading brands such as Clarins, Lancome, Estee Lauder and Clinque will all be featured, as will the fashion brands Ruby & Millie; Jemma Kidd; Urban Decay and Benefit.

The store will also include a baby area focusing on the children's clothing line Mini Mode.

"We are delighted to extend our Northern Ireland store portfolio to include this large store at Sprucefield and look forward to offering customers an unrivalled product range and excellent standards of customer service in our new Boots store in the centre," said Mary Woods, area manager, Boots Northern Ireland.

While the store will not have a mini film processing lab, there will be photo kiosks for digital processing, as well as an extensive range of camera equipment and films.

With the opening of the new store, Boots now employs over 1,350 people in Northern Ireland.

Boots said it had decided to open a store at Sprucefield because it offered an edge-of-town retailing opportunity and provided a large space in which to present the Boots range, particularly premium brand cosmetics.
