ACCC targets Priceline over cosmetics labels
The national discount retail chain, Priceline, has been pulled into line by Australia's consumer watchdog.
The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) says Priceline has not been properly labelling cosmetics.
The ACCC says the Trade Practices standards require the ingredients
of cosmetics to be listed on the container or the product, or a list of
them must be available in the store.
Priceline is implementing court-enforceable changes to the way it sells cosmetics.
